Heidi Wittenberg, MD
Training and Experience
Dr. Wittenberg specializes in minimally invasive and alternative treatments for urogynecologic issues like prolapse and incontinence; as well as, for gynecologic problems like fibroids and bleeding. She received her undergraduate education at UC Berkeley, a Masters in Physiology and her medical degree from Chicago Medical School. After 10 years of training in Chicago and at Johns Hopkins, she created the original Continence Center at California Pacific Medical Center. She has since developed the Comprehensive Pelvic Center at Pacific Gynecology & Obstetrics Medical Group office. She is now Director at Urogynecology Center of San Francisco.
Dr. Wittenberg is affiliated with MoZiac Care, a San Francisco transgender surgery center that providers FTM and MTF procedures.
Family and Interests
Dr. Wittenberg maintains involvement in several local and national professional societies and holds appointments at California Pacific Medical Center. Her other interests include surgical missions internationally, charity, running, and animal rescue ( of which her 3 dogs Charlie, Buddy, and Joey are thankful for being immediate recipients of that interest).
Elizabeth Riley, NP
Liz is a Nurse Practitioner board certified in both Women’s Health and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. She brings with her a clinical background in sexual and reproductive health and a passion for providing holistic and patient-centered care. Liz received a Bachelor’s in Biology from Wheaton College in Norton, MA and went on to complete a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA.
Originally from the Boston area, Liz enjoys hiking, travel, and exploring the city.
